CONSERVATORIES / DORMER WINDOWS
A conservatory is a way to bring your garden into your home, or extend your home into the garden. We complete these projects in both UPVC or in timber. Traditionally with the Victorian style roof structure or modern orangery type buildings, with bi-fold doors, a choice of roof coverings from polycarbonate to glaze with argon gas filled glass units to prevent heat loss. We can even supply Pilkington self cleaning glazed units – no more unsightly marks, and substantial savings in cleaning costs.
Your conservatory can be utilized in many ways, a comfortable sitting room, a playroom for the children or an escape for mum and dad. You can create a formal or informal dining area, or just use your conservatory to watch the stars at night!
Dormer windows increase the space at head height in strategic places in a loft. For example, in an en suite or midway along a bare wall where they break the line of a solid sloping wall and provide a vertical viewing window that also conforms to safety requirements. Dormer windows are useful additions to loft conversions as they enhance the internal and external character of a property, unlike roof skylights.
